Saturn Barter Company has created an opportunity for organizations to donate items in kind as live auction items to our Barter with Heart Gala on October 20 at the Tacoma Art Museum. These items will be auctioned off to the highest bidder in Saturn Trade Dollars. Those dollars will then be donated to our participating non-profit organizations. Everybody wins.
You can use your earned trade dollars for a multitude of items and services, such as:
- Marketing
- Accounting
- Printing
- Web design
- Building maintenance
- Construction
- Event production
- Cleaning
- Staff training
- AND MUCH MORE

And while we value the Saturn dollar as the unique currency it is, we also welcome attendees who are not Saturn members, and will allow them to donate and bid on auction items in cash.
We’ve organized the event to maximize benefits for participating non-profit organizations. Below is an outline of the structure, including three levels of participation and their benefits and commitments. Our goal is to raise a total of $75,000 (trade/cash) in live auction items. There’s great opportunity for your organization to earn more from Ask donations and silent auction items.
All partners agree to the following
- Use Saturn-provided branded info/logos, marketing materials to disseminate to various channels.
- Provide event outcomes data.
- Saturn gathers attendee data, then provides to partner.
Partner Level One (Two spaces available)
